Green lane is the full renovation and extension to an existing detached property in Formby merseyside. The site had a difficult planning history and it had proven difficult to extend or alter in the past due to its location within a conservation area and being sited adjacent to a grade 2 listed cottage.
Twentysix were approached by the family to help transform their house and deliver their exciting and ambitious brief.
Key to the brief was extending to the side to create 2 large children’s bedrooms with en-suites along with a larger master suite to the rear, a second ground floor formal lounge, gym and front and rear external works including a swim-up pool
Working closely with our client, the local planning authority we were able to navigate the historic planning issues on the site and with our engineers and contractors from our network deliver the project on time and budget.
